How I got into Real Estate…

From Building Roots to Selling Dreams: My Unexpected Journey into Real Estate

Growing up, I was surrounded by the buzz of construction and design, thanks to my Builder Father and Grandfather. Entrepreneurship ran deep in our family, and conversations about housing, real estate, and design were a daily occurrence.

Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, I set my sights on a legal career while pursuing a Double Honours B.A. at Wilfrid Laurier University. I even took the leap and ordered LSAT prep books, ready to dive into the world of law. But fate had other plans.

The moment those LSAT prep books arrived, I had a sudden realization: being a lawyer wasn't my true calling. It was a pivotal moment that set me on a different course, leading me to explore new horizons.

After graduation, I found myself swept up in the corporate world, navigating sales and management roles at prominent companies like Rogers and BlackBerry. As my career matured, my undeniable passion for building, design, and real estate grew. The desire to pursue my real estate license grew stronger, and I began getting real estate license while on maternity leave with my third daughter (crazy times) and jumped full into my real estate career shortly thereafter.

Fast forward to today, and here I am. The rest, as they say, is history. I'm now proudly immersed in the dynamic world of real estate, where I can combine my entrepreneurial spirit, love for design, and dedication to helping others find their perfect home.
